Feeding recommendations
This is a protein mineral supplement and not a feed. Sufficient grazing and/or roughage must be available at all times.
P8 Lick is recommended for use in low rainfall/phosphate poor areas, especially when grazing papatability and quality decreases during dry winter periods.
Contains trace elements and high admission rates of phosphorus sources. Keep lick troughs filled and prevent gluttonous eating by hungry animals. A constant daily intake can help prevent NPN poisoning. Before feeding a NPN containing lick, feed an ordinary salt/phosphate lick for at least 5 -7 days. Feed as a supplement together with adequate quantities of grazing, pastures or quality roughage.
Recommended intake:
Cattle: (min) 560 gram/head/day
(max) 850 gram/head/day
Sheep: (min) 95 gram/head/day
(max) 150 gram/head/day
