FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS

This is a maintenance supplement and not a feed. Sufficient grazing and/or roughage must be available at all times. Yearling Summer Lick contains high quality by-pass protein that compliment green pastures.

Recommended for:

• Background maintenance
• Outgrow of heifers
• Lick for first calf heifers for improved conception
• Lick for Phase D Bulls on green pastures

Keep lick troughs filled and prevent gluttonous eating by hungry animals. A constant daily intake can help prevent NPN poisoning. Before feeding a NPN containing lick, feed an ordinary salt / phosphate lick for at least 5-7 days. Feed lick in troughs.

Recommended intake:

Cattle: 655 – 800 g/day/head

Sheep: 250 – 350g/sheep/day
